Sydney Allan was born in McKinney, Texas, in 2005. She is a photographer currently based in Lawrence, Kansas, where she will graduate from the University of Kansas in May of 2027 with a BFA in Design. She shoots sports in a true-to-life style—focusing on natural tones and moments that look the way they felt—and specializes in conforming to specific brand styles and client color palettes. Sydney is currently a student photography intern for the University of Kansas Athletics Department, while also maintaining an artistic photography practice. She often shoots on black-and-white film to serve as a commentary on her Christian faith and its influence on her day-to-day life. She has had her work published in the Corridor Gallery in Lawrence, Kansas, on three different occasions and will be a part of a group show, Tumbledown, in May of 2026 in the Edgar Heap of Birds Family Gallery in Lawrence.
